Richard Reece, MD, Editor-in-Chief, Practice Options™
Dr. Reece has served as editor-in-chief of Practice Options since its inception in 1996. His vision and "sense" of what physicians need, has been developed over years of practicing medicine, understanding and having direct involvement in the Minnesota managed health care transition. He was a practicing physician in Minneapolis for 25 years and served as Editor of Minnesota Medicine, the state medical journal. He is an author and commentator on health system change and strategies on how physicians can respond successfully within a managed care environment. Joe serves as editor of Physician Practice Options, The Quality Indicator, and is editor-in-chief of Health Care Quality: Insights & Outcomes. Joe has worked as a writer and editor for over 23 years, and has covered managed health care exclusively since 1991.
